Propositions supported

The current rules govern arraignment form and waiver, party discovery and sanctions, the post-arraignment discovery conference, subpoenas, and reciprocal witness-statement production.

Material limitations

The official current-rules page states that the Criminal Rules were last amended in 2023. A proposed Rule 17 revision projected for December 1, 2027 is separately recorded and is not current law. Local orders, constitutional disclosure, privileges, classified information, and circuit remedies require separate analysis.
