# Kyles v. Whitley

## Holding used

Suppressed favorable evidence is assessed cumulatively under *Bagley*, materiality is not a sufficiency test, and a prosecutor must learn of favorable evidence known to others acting on the government's behalf in the case, including police.

## Material limitation

The opinion does not define every boundary of a prosecution team for every separate government, agency, civil investigation, intelligence body, or sovereign.
