Our promise, in writing

Our satisfaction guarantee

Our promise is simple: we guarantee you'll be 100% satisfied with our work, or we'll make it right.

In addition, interior work carries a 3-year limited warranty and exterior work a 2-year limited warranty. If a covered defect such as peeling, blistering or flaking appears during the warranty period, we'll supply the labor and materials to correct it at no cost to you.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and our responsibility is limited to correcting the defective areas.

What isn't covered

Our warranty doesn't cover, and Red Barn Painting isn't responsible for, consequential or incidental damage caused by:

• Accidents, abuse, or normal wear and tear
• Temperature changes, settling or moisture — e.g. nail pops or cracks from expansion and contraction (cracks are properly prepared at the time of the job, but aren't covered afterward)
• Painted or stained horizontal walking surfaces — decks, floors and steps — or horizontal wood of any kind
• Dirt and mildew accumulation
• Paint failure from rotted wood, structural defects, moisture intrusion or insect damage
• Failure of previous coatings or of workmanship done before ours
• Slight differences in color when performing warranty touch-ups

Protecting your home

While we work, we take every reasonable measure to protect your property — covering floors and furniture, masking everything not being painted, and keeping work areas safe and tidy. Your trust matters to us, and we treat your home the way we'd want ours treated.

Our crews follow established safety practices on every job, including EPA Lead-Safe work practices on homes built before 1978.

Insurance

Red Barn Painting carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance through Integrity Midwest Insurance (3301 Clinton Pkwy, Lawrence, KS 66047 · (785) 856-5100). Certificates of insurance are available on request.
